Tour Itinerary

• Day 1:
  Oslo
  Arrive in Oslo. Balance of day free. Overnight at the Thon Hotel Opera located near Oslo’s central train station.
• Day 2:
  Oslo – Flåm – Balestrand
  Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to train station on own. Depart Oslo at 8:11am on the famed Oslo/Bergen Railway to Myrdal. Arrival 12:53pm. At 1:27pm change to the renowned Flåm Line. Within 13 miles descend 2800 feet to the idyllic fjord community of Flåm. Arrival 2:25pm. At 3:30pm board the Flåm Express boat to Balestrand. Arrival 4:55pm. Dinner and overnight at the charming Kvikne’s Hotel.
• Day 3:
  Balestrand – Bergen
  Breakfast at hotel. At 7:55am depart Balestrand on the Sognefjord Express boat to Bergen. Arrival 11:40am. (Note: Sunday departures leave at 4:55 pm, arriving in Bergen at 8:40pm. Also available Mon-Sat; please request upon registration.) Overnight at Clarion Admiral Hotel.
• Day 4:
  Bergen – Coastal Voyage
  Breakfast at hotel. At 10:00am join a local 3-hour sightseeing tour including the Old Bergen Museum and Troldhaugen, Edvard Grieg’s home. (City tour at 2:00pm incl. Fantoft Stave Church and Troldhaugen available May 18-Aug. 31. Request upon registration.) Afternoon free. At 6:00pm embarkation begins on Hurtigruten (formerly Norwegian Coastal Voyage), the world’s most beautiful voyage. Depart Bergen at 8:00pm for a coastal cruise voyage to Trondheim. Dinner buffet and overnight on board ship.
• Day 5:
  Coastal Voyage
  When you awake, the ship will be crossing Stadthavet and heading for Torvik. You’ll have time to stroll around the beautiful Art Nouveau town of Ålesund. After a short stop at the Jazz Festival town of Molde, you’ll cross Hustadvika before docking at Kristiansund. (Between April 1—Sept. 30, all ships call at Geiranger in the spectacular Geirangerfjord giving you an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Brudesloret, Friaren, and the Seven Sisters waterfalls.) Breakfast and dinner served on board ship.
• Day 6:
  Coastal Voyage – Trondheim
  Breakfast on board ship. Arrive in Trondheim at 8:15am. Transfer on own to hotel. At 11:00am join a 2-hour local sightseeing tour including the magnificent Nidaros Cathedral. (Trondheim sightseeing tour only available May 21—Aug. 26.) Balance of day free. Overnight at Radisson SAS Royal Garden Hotel.
• Day 7:
  Trondheim
  Package ends following breakfast.
