Tour Itinerary

• Day 1:
  Bergen – Flåm
  Pick-up car rental at airport and drive to Flåm (approx. 2½ hrs). Dinner and overnight at the historic Fretheim Hotel.
• Day 2:
  Norway In A Nutshell Excursion
  Depart Flåm at 9:00am by ferry to cruise the dramatic Aurland and Nærøy Fjords (recently placed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List). Arrive in Gudvangen at 11:00am. At 11:40am, depart Gudvangen by bus (public transportation) for Voss. Ascend the 13 hairpin bends of the thrilling Stalheim road. Arrive in Voss at 12:55pm. At 1:50pm, depart Voss by rail to arrive in Myrdal at 2:35pm. At 2:38pm, depart Myrdal and transfer to the renowned Flåm Line, ranked as one of the top 20 train rides in the world. Within 13 miles, descend 2800 feet to sea level, passing roaring waterfalls and fantastic views of the wild Flåm Valley. Arrive in Flåm at 3:35pm. Dinner and overnight at the Fretheim Hotel.
• Day 3:
  Excursion with Car to Lofthus
  Morning at leisure in Voss. Depart for Hardanger, the heart of Norway’s cherry, apple and pear orchards. Ferry across the Hardanger Fjord from Kvanndal to Kinsarvik. Dinner and overnight at the exquisite Ullensvang Hotel.
• Day 4:
  Excursion with Car to Lofthus
  Day free for relaxation or independent excursions by car. Dinner at hotel.
• Day 5:
  Lofthus – Solstrand
  Drive south along the Sørfjord. At Odda proceed through the tunnel under the Følgefonn Glacier. Ferry from Løfallsstrand to Gjermundshavn and Fusa to Hatvik. Dinner and overnight at one of Norway’s most beautiful hotels, Solstrand, situated along the Bjørne Fjord in the peaceful countryside surrounding Bergen. Relax, reflect and take in the serenity of the fjord at Solstrand’s recently expanded Spa.
• Day 6:
  Solstrand
  Optional excursion to Bergen or day free to enjoy this beautiful property and lovely setting. Dinner and overnight at Solstrand.
• Day 7:
  Solstrand
  Drive to Flesland Airport for return flight. Drop car rental at airport.
