ITINERARY – 4 DAYS

DAY 1     REYKJAVIK
Early morning arrival from the USA to Keflavik Airport.  Independent transfer by Flybus to Reykjavik via the Blue Lagoon. The Blue Lagoon is one of Iceland’s most popular attractions, a natural geothermal pool in the middle of a large and dramatic lava field and an oasis that owes its existence to a nearby geothermal power plant, looming large over the aqua tinted waters. Stop for a refreshing bath or a swim in the inviting, rejuvenating and pleasantly warm mineral-rich water (37°C-39°C/98-102°F), reputed for its healing properties. Bathing in this surreal environment is a unique experience no one should miss. The Blue Lagoon’s warm water and natural active ingredients like mineral salts, silica and blue green algae help you relax and escape the stress and strain of daily life. When you are ready to depart, continue to Reykjavik (several bus departures during the day). Dinner on own. Overnight at the Centerhotel Plaza or similar.

DAY 2     GOLDEN CIRCLE TOUR                                              [B]
Breakfast at hotel. This small group (up to 19 people) tour takes you to all the attractions of the famous Golden Circle. Take in the history of the rough and mossy Þingvellir national park, enjoy the show of the gushing geysers, and lose your breath over the alluring Gullfoss waterfall. Option to combine this tour with a thrilling snowmobile ride on a glacier, a trip to a lava cave, ATV ride, or a whale watching cruise. Return to Reykjavik for overnight at hotel.

DAY 3     SOUTH SHORE ADVENTURE TOUR                      [B]
Breakfast at hotel. This morning, join a full-day adventure along the south shore of Iceland and explore the glaciers, waterfalls, black lava beaches and bird cliffs of South Iceland. This small group tour (up to 19 people) is ideal for nature lovers of all kinds. You will have an opportunity to stand behind the plummeting Seljalandsfoss waterfall, walk along the black sand at Diamond Beach and travel by boat between giant icebergs at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Highlights of the day are stunning views of glaciers, black lava sand coastlines and impressive rock formations. Return to Reykjavik in the late evening. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 4     REYKJAVIK                                                                      [B]
Breakfast at hotel. Early morning independent transfer by Flybus to Keflavik Airport for flight to Europe.

Itinerary can also be done as a stopover from Europe to the USA.
