ITINERARY – 10 DAYS

DAY 1     BERGEN
Arrive Bergen. Balance of day free to relax and adjust to time change. Overnight at Clarion Admiral Hotel located by Bergen’s famous Hanseatic wharf or similar.

DAY 2     BERGEN – VOSS                                                            [B,D]
Breakfast at hotel. Afternoon departure from Bergen by train on the famed Oslo/Bergen Railway for Voss. Dinner and overnight at Fleischer’s Hotel.

DAY 3     NORWAY IN A NUTSHELL EXCURSION             [B,D]
Breakfast at hotel. Leave your luggage behind and enjoy a full day experiencing the Norway in a Nutshell adventure. Depart Voss by bus at 10:35am. Arrive in Gudvangen at 11:23am. At 11:30am, board the ferry for a cruise on the Nærøyfjord and Aurlandfjord to Flåm. Arrive in the quaint fjord community of Flåm at 1:30pm. Depart Flåm on board the famous Flåm Railway at 4:05pm. At Myrdal, change to the Oslo/Bergen Railway and return to Voss. Arrive at 6:15pm. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 4     VOSS – OSLO                                                                  [B]
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to train station and depart for Oslo at 9:08am. Arrive at 2:45pm. Overnight at the Thon Hotel Opera or similar located in Oslo’s city center.

DAY 5     OSLO                                                                                  [B]
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning sightseeing tour of Oslo. Visit the beautiful Frogner Park with the lifetime work of Gustav Vigeland, Norway’s greatest sculptor. Evening free to take a harbor cruise or stroll along the main street, Karl Johan. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 6     OSLO – COPENHAGEN                                             [B,D]
Breakfast at hotel. Morning free to sightsee in Norway’s capital city. In the afternoon, transfer on own to the pier for 2:15pm departure onboard a DFDS Seaways overnight cruise to Copenhagen (boarding begins at 12:45pm). Dinner and overnight on board in outside cabin.

DAY 7     COPENHAGEN                                                              [B]
Breakfast on board. Arrive in Copenhagen at 9:15am. Following disembarkation, transfer on own to hotel. Balance of day free to enjoy a hop-on / hop-off city sightseeing pass including Amalienborg Palace, the winter residence of the Royal Family and the famous statue of the Little Mermaid. Time to browse the world’s longest shopping street, Strøget. Opportunity to shop at Royal Copenhagen or experience the magic of Tivoli Gardens where you will find amusements, concerts and restaurants to tempt your palate along with an abundance of flowers, trees and thousands of glittering lights. Dinner on own. Overnight at the Comfort Hotel Vesterbro, or similar.

DAY 8     COPENHAGEN – STOCKHOLM                             [B]
In the morning, transfer to the train station on own for departure by train to Stockholm. Considered to be one of the world’s most beautiful cities, Stockholm is positioned on 14 islands separated by wide bays, broad channels and narrow waterways. Upon arrival, transfer on own to the Clarion Sign Hotel or similar for overnight.

DAY 9     STOCKHOLM                                                                [B]
Breakfast at hotel. Morning sightseeing tour by bus and boat passes the most famous buildings and views over the city. View city districts and famous sights such as Stockholm City Hall, The Royal Palace, Östermalm, Gamla Stan (Old Town), Långholmen and The Royal Djurgården on this tour. Afterward, step on board your boat and let us guide you to the most famous parts of the city. We’ll travel under fifteen bridges and pass through a lock that is connecting the Baltic Sea with Lake Mälaren. Outside the window you will see the inner city, the Old Town, the islands Södermalm, Lilla and Stora Essingen, the new area Hammarby Sjöstad and the green areas of Djurgården. Afternoon free. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 10     STOCKHOLM                                                              [B]
Tour ends following breakfast at hotel or continue on to the Finnish capital of Helsinki via an overnight cruise.

Itinerary can be reversed (Stockholm to Bergen) and adjusted (Oslo to Stockholm only). Additional hotel nights are available upon request.
