ITINERARY – 6 DAYS

DAY 1     BERGEN – SVOLVÆR
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer on own to the Bergen Flesland Airport for morning flight to the Harstad/Narvik Airport. Transfer to Svolvær. Balance of day free. Overnight at the Thon Hotel Svolvær.

DAY 2     SEA EAGLE SAFARI                                                                    [B]
Breakfast at hotel. Today, enjoy an exhilarating Sea Eagle Safari to the legendary Trollfjorden, a journey that combines adventure with a rich narrative of the fjord’s history and present. As you board your RIB boat, prepare for an experience that brings you up close with the majestic sea eagles. Along the route, the boat makes several stops at large colonies of these magnificent birds, offering unparalleled opportunities for wildlife observation and photography. The journey starts from our quay in the harbor of Svolvær, and takes you through Raftsundet’s serene waters to the majestic Trollfjorden. Experience Norway’s dramatic natural beauty from an open boat, bringing you into close contact with the elements. The highlight of this tour is undoubtedly the sight of majestic sea eagles, native to Raftsundet, soaring just meters above, offering a truly unforgettable experience. Experience sea eagles, northern Europe’s largest eagle, with a wingspan reaching up to 8.5 feet. Your guides, skilled in eagle behavior, enhance the experience by attracting these magnificent birds closer to the boat using locally sourced herring. Trollfjorden, the highlight of the trip, is a natural wonder that captivates with its dramatic landscapes and tranquil waters. Here, your experienced guide will regale you with tales of the fjord like the Trollfjord battle, weaving together its past and present, and revealing the secrets that make this place truly special. After soaking in the beauty and stories of Trollfjorden, the RIB boat will escort you back to Svolvær, leaving you with memories of an unforgettable adventure where nature and history intertwine. DAY 3     EXCURSION IN AREA                                                                [B]
Breakfast at hotel. Depart on a 5-hr private tour featuring the picturesque landscape, typical for the Lofoten islands. Along the way, stop at historical sites, beaches and the mandatory photo stops that you cannot miss in Kabelvåg, Lyngvær, Hov and Henningsvær. You can sit back and enjoy the scenery while your guide introduces you to the fishing culture and history. On the beach stop at Hov you can wander on your own to absorb the never-ending horizon or let the guide tell you stories about the way of life on the coast. After arriving at the charming islands of Henningsvær, enjoy a short fishing village walk before you are welcome to wander on your own. There are small handcraft shops, galleries and cafes that are worth visiting while here. Return to Svolvær for overnight at hotel.

DAY 5     SVOLVÆR – OSLO / GARDERMOEN                                    [B]
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Svolvær airport (SVJ) for flight to Oslo Gardermoen. Overnight at Radisson Blu hotel at Oslo Gardermoen airport.

DAY 6     OSLO / GARDERMOEN – DEPART                                        [B]
