Mpls/St. Paul―Oslo: Depart on your transatlantic flight. To request alternate dates or for estimated airfare supplements from other US cities, please note on application.

DAY 2     JUNE 14 / JULY 2 / AUGUST 4                              [D]
Oslo: Arrive at Oslo Gardermoen Airport. Transfer to hotel. Balance of day free to relax and adjust to time change. Welcome dinner and overnight at the Grand Hotel.

DAY 3     JUNE 15 / JULY 3 / AUGUST 5                              [B]
Oslo: Morning sightseeing tour of Oslo includes a visit to Vigeland Sculpture Park and the Norwegian Folk Museum featuring Gol Stave Church. Afternoon and evening free for shopping and independent explorations. Dinner on own. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 4     JUNE 16 / JULY 4 / AUGUST 6                              [B,D]
Oslo―Eidfjord―Voss: Drive through the Hallingdal Valley. Cross the Hardangervidda, the largest high mountain plateau in Northern Europe, to Hardanger. In Eidfjord, visit the Hardangerfjord Nature Center reflecting Norway’s love and respect for nature. Continue to Voss. Dinner and overnight at the historic Fleischer’s Hotel.

DAY 5     JUNE 17 / JULY 5 / AUGUST 7                              [B,D]
Bergen Excursion: Travel to Norway’s second largest city, Bergen. Enjoy a walking tour through the historic Hanseatic Wharf. Time on own to stroll along the colorful Fish Market or take other independent explorations. Return to Voss for dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 6     JUNE 18 / JULY 6 / AUGUST 8                             [B,D]
Voss―Flåm―Loen: Board the Oslo/Bergen Railway. At Myrdal, transfer to the famous Flåm Railway, ranked as one of the top 20 train rides in the world. Within 13 miles, descend 2800 feet to Flåm. Drive through the world’s 2nd longest tunnel from Aurland to Lærdal. Ferry across the mighty Sognefjord. Proceed to Skei. Opportunity to purchase quality crafts and woven products at Audhild Viken’s Weaving Workshop. Drive to Loen. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Alexandra.

DAY 7     JUNE 19 / JULY 7 / AUGUST 9                              [B,D]
Loen: Morning excursion to the sparkling Briksdal Glacier. Ride the “Troll Cart” to view the glacier and feel the icy waters of the river below. Return to Loen. Afternoon free to relax at the hotel or experience the Loen Skylift for a view of the surrounding fjords and mountains. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 8     JUNE 20 / JULY 8 / AUGUST 10                          [B,D]
Loen―Geiranger―Molde: Cruise the renowned Geirangerfjord from Hellesylt to Geirangolden Route.” Ascend the Eagle Road and continue to the famous Troll’s Path with its steep and narrow hairpin bends. Proceed to Molde, the “City of Roses,” for dinner and overnight in seaview rooms at Scandic Seilet Hotel (Tours A & C) / Håholmen Havstuer (Tour B).

DAY 9     JUNE 21 / JULY 9 / AUGUST 11                            [B,L,D]
Molde―Trondheim: Drive the Atlantic Ocean Road with the vast ocean on one side and snow-clad mountain peaks on the other. Travel to the fishing village of Bud. Tour Ergan Kystfort, a defensive bunker built by the Germans during the occupation of Norway during World War II. Salmon lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Trondheim. Dinner and overnight at Radisson BLU Royal Garden (Tours A & C) / Scandic Nidelven Hotel (Tour B).

Trondheim: Morning sightseeing tour of Trondheim includes a visit to the Nidaros Cathedral, one of the most splendid cathedrals in Scandinavia. Afternoon free. Farewell dinner and overnight at hotel.

Trondheim―Depart: Tour ends following breakfast. Transfer to Trondheim Værnes Airport for return flight. Longer stays may be requested upon registration for a minimum charge of $250.
